A Time for Self Care
The Coronavirus outbreak has caused a lot of events, social activities, and other gatherings to be postponed. In an effort to control the spread of the virus, people are encouraged to stay home, lay low and get plenty of rest.
Staying healthy includes self-care, so while we’re no longer attending large gatherings, the one-on-one time we spend with our close friends, family and the professionals who help keep our minds, bodies and spirits aligned are important.
This virus will end. We will learn more about it. We will get it under control and move forward with a cleaner house, improved hygiene habits and a renewed appreciation for well stocked store shelves.
I had a much needed massage and facial the other day. The spa was cleaned to perfection, the staff was attentive, and the massage and facial were both relaxing and up-lifting. This extra care gave me a renewed energy to take care of others.
Take this time for yourself for some self-care. It’s not selfish – it’s essential and you deserve it.
If you’ve been putting off the facial or massage, now is a good time to schedule it. If you are looking in the mirror and see the stress taking it’s toll on your skin, schedule a peel or laser treatment. Normally, we don’t have the time for downtime, right now we do. So, let’s take this global pause to take extra care of ourselves.
An hour spent on self-care will give 10-fold returns in your care for others.
Schedule time for you today and see how good you feel.
