Waxing between brows and dermaplaning in one session. You can combine waxing and dermaplane treatments.

Waxing & Dermaplaning
Better together or at a distance?

We get this question a lot. So today we made a little video for you.

We waxed between the brows, under each brow and upper lip. Then we dermaplaned right up to the waxed border. It was easy to see where that was because it was a little pink.

We cleansed our model Chandler’s skin twice under steam and used our Baby Face Facial Towels to gently remove after each cleanse.
Next, we used our AHA/BHA Skin Prep Solution on areas we’ll be waxing and dermaplaning.
Same for the Nourishe Dermaplaning Oil, which we applied two pumps to face and neck. We’re using hard wax so the Nourishe was a great prep for waxing with hard wax.
(If you are using soft wax – your prep will be a little different.)

I waxed each area first, then allowed it to rest while dermaplaning. Since the Nourishe helps soothe, calm, reduce redness and heal skin it was perfect post-wax.

After waxing, I went right into dermaplaning. You can see in the video that the dermaplaning met the waxing border.

After dermaplaning, I applied NuPeel Natural Enzyme and lightly massaged until the dead skin cells formed into beads. That was removed with a Baby Face Facial Towel.

Next steps were mask under light steam for 12 minutes. Remove with BFFT and finish with calming serum, moisturizer and SPF.

As we apply the moisturizer and SPF you can see that she has a treatment glow but no redness from waxing or dermaplaning.

We enjoyed using Sorella Apothecary products during this video. Choose products from your favorite backbar to customize this service for your client.

So wax on, wax off, then dermaplane to the border, hydrate, calm and soothe, then protect and out into the wild she goes …

Wishing you all fuzz free fun.
Happy Dermaplaning.
